6990...?

Pretty much.
Anyone who has been following new releases in the computer market knows that the new ATI Radeon HD 6990 chipset has been released. The card consists of two 6790 chipsets, and comes at a whopping $700. The card is primarily made for overclockers, seeing as the un-overclocked card only clocks a little below the retail 6970 per chip. The idea is that this card can consolidate your graphics cards and give you more performance for less space used in your case, but for many people the argument is that it actually does worse than two 6970s in crossfire. In my opinion, buyers would be much better off buying two 6970s than a 6990, unless you're a clocker. Here is a link to the ATI Radeon HD 6990Here is a link to the ATI Radeon HD 6970.
